Description
A refreshing summer drink that combines the natural sweetness of watermelon with the tartness of lemons, perfect for hot days and gatherings.
Ingredients

- 5 to 6 cups seedless watermelon, cut into 1–2 inch cubes
- 2 cups ice cold water
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice (about 4 large lemons)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice (about 1 large lime)
- 2 tablespoons agave nectar (optional; honey or maple syrup can also be used)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- Watermelon slices (for garnish)
- Lemon or lime slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- Blend the watermelon cubes, cold water, and granulated sugar in a high-speed blender until smooth.
- Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
- Add lemon juice, lime juice, and agave nectar to the strained watermelon juice and stir well.
- Adjust sweetness if necessary, serve over ice, and garnish with watermelon, lemon or lime slices, and fresh mint leaves.
Notes
Use ripe watermelon for the sweetest flavor. You can experiment with sweeteners and substitute lime juice with alternative citrus fruits if needed.
