Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium-sized watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 block (about 8 ounces) feta cheese, cut into ½ to ¾-inch cubes
- A handful of fresh mint leaves, washed and dried
- Aged balsamic vinegar, to taste, for drizzling
Instructions
- Cut the watermelon into 1-inch cubes and the feta into slightly smaller cubes. Wash and dry the mint leaves.
- Take a skewer and thread a watermelon cube halfway down.
- Add a mint leaf, followed by a cube of feta cheese, and another mint leaf.
- Finish with another watermelon cube. Repeat to create multiple skewers with two to three sets of each ingredient.
- Arrange on a serving platter and drizzle lightly with aged balsamic vinegar before serving.
Notes
- Use firm watermelon to prevent it from breaking apart on the skewer.
- Do not overdo the balsamic drizzle to keep flavors balanced.
- Chill the assembled skewers for 30 minutes before serving for a refreshing touch.
- Use colorful or decorative skewers for a festive presentation.
