Description
A creamy vegan flan made with coconut milk and agar-agar.
Ingredients

- 1 can coconut milk
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon agar-agar powder
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, almond milk, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
- In another pot, dissolve agar-agar in water and bring to a boil.
- Combine the agar-agar mixture with the thickened milk mixture.
- Pour the mixture into individual molds.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Carefully unmold and serve chilled.
Notes
- Use any plant-based milk for variations.
- Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Top with fruit or syrup if desired.
