Description

A delicious vegan black bean burger that is hearty and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash the black beans with a fork.
  2. Add quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into patties.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, until browned.
