A delicious vegan black bean burger that is hearty and satisfying.
Ingredients

- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mash the black beans with a fork.
- Add quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, until browned.
- Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Store leftover patties in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- These burgers can be frozen for later use.
