- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons truffle oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour and whisk for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
- Slowly add milk, whisking continuously until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in cheddar, Gruyère, and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
- Add truffle oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni. Stir to coat.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
