Description
Steamed yeast dumplings, known as Dampfnudeln, made vegan and gluten-free.
Ingredients

- 1 cup gluten-free flour
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm almond milk and sugar. Add yeast and let it activate for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix gluten-free flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and coconut oil to the flour. Mix until a dough forms.
- Add lemon juice and knead for 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Divide the dough into balls and place them in a steamer.
- Steam for 20 minutes until fluffy.
Notes
- Ensure the flour is certified gluten-free.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Serve with your choice of sauce or filling.
