- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Red chili peppers, thinly sliced (optional)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a medium bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Mix until honey is dissolved.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until pink.
- Flip shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and opaque.
- Pour the sauce over the shrimp and stir gently to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat, transfer to a bowl, and garnish with cilantro, sliced red chili peppers, and sesame seeds. Serve warm.
