- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Slice the beef chuck into thin strips.
- Prepare the broccoli by cutting fresh broccoli into florets or measuring out frozen broccoli.
- Mix the sauce by combining soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Place the sliced beef in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it, stirring to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Add broccoli 30 minutes before cooking time is up.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes.
- For a sweeter sauce, increase the brown sugar.
