Description

Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli is a beloved dish that combines tender beef with vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce, cooked effortlessly in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef chuck
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef chuck into thin strips.
  2. Prepare the broccoli by cutting fresh broccoli into florets or measuring out frozen broccoli.
  3. Mix the sauce by combining soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  4. Place the sliced beef in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it, stirring to coat.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Add broccoli 30 minutes before cooking time is up.

Notes
