A delicious Shanghai Angus steak recipe with a unique marinade.
Ingredients

- 2 Angus steaks
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Place the Angus steaks in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them.
- Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove steaks from the marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes per side for medium rare.
- Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
