Description

A delicious Shanghai Angus steak recipe with a unique marinade.


Ingredients

  • 2 Angus steaks
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place the Angus steaks in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove steaks from the marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes per side for medium rare.
  6. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
