- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon: Remove the skin from the salmon fillet and cut it into 1-inch cubes. Pat dry with paper towels and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Coat the Salmon in Cornstarch: Lightly dredge each seasoned salmon piece in cornstarch, shaking off excess.
- Cook the Salmon Bites: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook salmon bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
- Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth. Adjust sriracha for desired heat.
- Toss the Salmon in the Sauce: Place cooked salmon bites in a large bowl, pour over the Bang Bang sauce, and gently toss to coat.
- Garnish and Serve: Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes if desired.
