Description
A delicious punch bowl cake made with layers of cake, pudding, and fruit.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups of vanilla pudding mix
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 can of pineapple chunks
- 2 cups of strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups of whipped cream
- 1 cup of chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- In another bowl, mix the pudding mix and milk until thick.
- Cut the cooled cake into cubes.
- In a punch bowl, layer cake cubes, pudding, pineapple, strawberries, and whipped cream.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Top with chocolate shavings and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh fruit for best flavor.
- Can substitute vanilla pudding with chocolate pudding.
- Make a day ahead for better taste.
