A delicious pumpkin dessert that combines flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Ingredients

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, and butter until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture.
- Fold in the flour until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Serve with whipped cream for added flavor.
- Can be made ahead of time.
