- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Butter for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, cocoa powder, sugar, peppermint extract, and salt.
- Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, coating both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
- Cook each slice for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve with whipped cream and crushed peppermint on top.
Notes
- Use thick bread for best results.
- Adjust peppermint extract to taste.
