- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- Grease a baking dish.
- Place cubed bread in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour melted butter over the casserole before baking.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with maple syrup.
