Description

One Pot Creamy Garlic Butter Spinach Pasta is a quick, delicious, and comforting meal made with garlic, spinach, butter, milk, and cheese—all in a single pot. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners, it’s creamy, flavorful, and ready in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 servings of Pappardelle or your favorite pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 23 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Stock or Water
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
  • 150 grams or 23 loose cups of Fresh Spinach
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese (or your choice of cheese)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli Flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over low heat and add minced garlic. Cook gently until fragrant.
  2. Add dry pasta, stock or water, milk, and salt. Stir and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and cook until pasta is al dente, about 7–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add spinach and stir until wilted and fully incorporated.
  5. Turn off the heat and add Parmesan and Cheddar cheese. Stir until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with black pepper, chili flakes if using, and garnish with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve hot with optional garnishes like extra cheese or parsley.

Notes

  • Use freshly minced garlic for best flavor.
  • Stir pasta occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Add more milk or stock if the sauce becomes too thick.
  • Customize with mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, or proteins like chicken or shrimp.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
