Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 2 cups mushrooms, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 4 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions, celery, and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Add mushrooms and cook until they release moisture.
- Stir in parsley, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes with the mushroom mixture.
- Pour vegetable broth over the mixture and stir gently.
- Transfer to a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use stale bread for better texture.
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free bread.
