Description

A refreshing dessert made with mango and sago pearls.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago pearls
  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1 can coconut milk (400ml)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sago pearls under cold water.
  2. Boil water in a pot and add the sago pearls.
  3. Cook until translucent, about 15 minutes.
  4. Drain and rinse the cooked sago under cold water.
  5. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Heat until sugar dissolves.
  6. Add the cooked sago to the coconut milk mixture.
  7. Let it cool, then mix in the diced mangoes.
  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use ripe mangoes for best flavor.
  • Adjust sugar to taste.
  • This dessert can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
