  • Flour or cornmeal for dusting
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup whole milk ricotta cheese (dolloped)
  • 2025 slices pepperoni
  • 12 tablespoons hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C), placing a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface, roll out the pizza dough to a 12-inch round, dusting with flour or cornmeal.
  3. Transfer the dough to parchment paper, spread the tomato sauce evenly, leaving a 1/2 inch border.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese, add pepperoni slices, and dollop ricotta cheese around.
  5. Transfer the pizza to the preheated stone or baking sheet, and bake for 8-12 minutes until the crust is golden.
