A delightful dish combining savory ground chicken, sweet honey, and spicy Sriracha with crunchy broccoli.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Tbsp olive oil, divided
- 12 oz broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 C sweet chili sauce
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2–3 Tbsp Sriracha (adjust based on spice preference)
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- Sesame seeds and green onion for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add broccoli and cook for 4-5 minutes until dark green. Set aside.
- Add remaining olive oil to the skillet, brown the ground chicken for 4-5 minutes, breaking it up until fully cooked.
- In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, garlic powder, and ground ginger.
- Pour sauce over cooked chicken, stirring for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Add broccoli back to the skillet, mixing until well-coated and heated through. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion before serving.
Notes
Adjust the Sriracha for desired spice level. For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
