Description
Healthy Cookie Dough Bark is a delicious and guilt-free treat that combines the rich flavors of cookie dough with the satisfying crunch of chocolate.
Ingredients
- Almond flour: 1 cup (about 100 g)
- Coconut oil: 1/4 cup (about 60 ml), melted
- Maple syrup: 1/4 cup (about 60 ml)
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon (about 5 ml)
- Dark chocolate chips: 1/2 cup (about 90 g)
- Sea salt: 1/4 teaspoon (about 1.5 g)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients.
- Prepare the baking dish by lining an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) square baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended, then gradually add the almond flour until a thick dough forms.
- Transfer the cookie dough mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it evenly into the bottom.
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, then pour it over the pressed cookie dough layer and spread it evenly. Sprinkle sea salt on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the chocolate to harden.
- Once set, lift the bark out using the parchment paper overhang and cut into squares or break into pieces.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Can be frozen for up to three months; separate layers with parchment paper.
- Experiment with different mix-ins like nuts or dried fruits.
