- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix all the spices with olive oil and water.
- Cut the meat into thin slices and combine with the spice mixture.
- Form the meat into a loaf shape.
- Place the meat on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the meat overnight.
- Serve with pita bread and tzatziki sauce.
- Can use chicken or pork as alternatives.
