Description

Ingredients

  • 500g gnocchi
  • 400g canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  4. Add canned tomatoes and oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Mix cooked gnocchi with the tomato sauce.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
