Description
Fattoush salad is a fresh and tangy Lebanese salad made with mixed greens and crispy pita bread.
Ingredients

- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 cup mint leaves, chopped
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 radish, sliced
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sumac
- Salt to taste
- 2 pita bread, toasted and broken into pieces
Instructions
- Wash and chop the lettuce, parsley, mint, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, green onions, and bell pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine all the chopped vegetables.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, and salt.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
- Add the toasted pita pieces and toss again.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables as desired.
- Adjust the sumac according to your taste.
- For a spicy kick, add chopped chili peppers.
