Description
A quick and healthy tofu stir fry packed with fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
Scale
- 14 oz firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the tofu into cubes.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add tofu and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add mixed vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
- Pour the sauce over the stir fry and cook until thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use any vegetables you have on hand.
- Adjust soy sauce according to taste.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
