Description

A simple recipe for seitan teriyaki, packed with flavor and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup seitan, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the seitan.
  3. Pour the sauce over the seitan in the pan.
  4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with rice or noodles.
  • You can add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
