Description
Djuvec vegetable rice is a flavorful dish made with rice and mixed vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 zucchini, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Add bell pepper, carrot, and zucchini; cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the rice and paprika; mix well.
- Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork and season with salt and pepper.
