A savory and hearty crockpot philly cheesesteak made with tender beef and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices of provolone cheese
- Hoagie rolls
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
- Add sliced onion and green bell pepper on top.
- Pour in beef broth.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper over the mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the beef with two forks.
- Top with provolone cheese and cover until melted.
- Serve on hoagie rolls.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Worcestershire sauce.
- You can use ribeye instead of chuck roast.
- Serve with pickled jalapeños for heat.
