Description

A delightful dish featuring tender white fish fillets enveloped in a crunchy and cheesy coating, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs White Fish Fillets
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian)
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Rinse fish fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Season fish with salt and pepper.
  4. In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, and oregano.
  5. Press the top side of each fish fillet into the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place coated fillets on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Check for doneness and broil for an extra 1 to 2 minutes if desired.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the fish for a minute or two at the end of the cooking process. Consider serving with lemon wedges.
