- 1 Large Head of Cauliflower
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- Optional: Red Pepper Flakes
- Optional: Fresh Parsley or Chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower, trim the stem, and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Optionally add red pepper flakes.
- Brush the seasoning mixture onto each cauliflower steak and arrange them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until tender and golden brown. Optionally broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating cauliflower steaks in the seasoning mixture for 30 minutes before baking.
