  • Fresh basil leaves: 1 cup, packed
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

  • Sugar: 1 teaspoon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the diced onion until translucent.
