A hearty creamy sausage and potato soup that warms you up.
Ingredients

- 1 pound sausage
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until soft.
- Stir in diced potatoes and thyme.
- Pour in the chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Add heavy cream. Stir well and heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

- Use any type of sausage you prefer.
- Adjust the cream for desired thickness.
- Add vegetables like carrots or celery if desired.
