Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz fresh or frozen Cheese Tortellini
- 2 Chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cups Broccoli florets
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Italian herbs, to taste
- A handful of Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package instructions, about 3-4 minutes for fresh or 7-10 minutes for frozen. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth and simmer for a minute while stirring.
- Gradually add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Add chicken, broccoli, and tortellini to the sauce; toss to coat and cook for another 2-3 minutes until broccoli is bright green. Serve with chopped parsley.
Notes
Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and parsley. Pairs well with crusty bread and a glass of white wine.
