Description

A delightful dish combining creamy Parmesan cheese, garlic, chicken, and broccoli in a rich sauce, perfect for family dinners or impressing guests.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh or frozen Cheese Tortellini
  • 2 Chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Italian herbs, to taste
  • A handful of Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package instructions, about 3-4 minutes for fresh or 7-10 minutes for frozen. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth and simmer for a minute while stirring.
  4. Gradually add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Add chicken, broccoli, and tortellini to the sauce; toss to coat and cook for another 2-3 minutes until broccoli is bright green. Serve with chopped parsley.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and parsley. Pairs well with crusty bread and a glass of white wine.
