Description

A warm and hearty cinnamon spice oatmeal bake perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1/2 cup raisins or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, honey, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  5. Fold in chopped apples and raisins or nuts if using.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
