Homemade chocolate granola bars that are chewy and delicious.
Ingredients

- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, or your choice)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix oats, nuts, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, peanut butter, and vanilla. Heat until melted.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add chocolate chips and stir.
- Spread the mixture into a lined baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- You can add dried fruits for extra flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of honey or maple syrup.
