Ingredients
- Ripe avocados: 2 medium
- Unsweetened cocoa powder: 1/2 cup
- Maple syrup or honey: 1/4 cup
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Almond milk or any milk of choice: 1/4 cup
- Salt: a pinch
- Cocoa powder: for dusting (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves: for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.
- Prepare the avocados by cutting them in half and removing the pit, then scoop the flesh into a blender.
- Add cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, almond milk, and salt to the blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary, then blend again.
- Transfer the mousse to serving cups, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
