Description

Cherry summer treats are refreshing popsicles made with fresh cherries and cherry juice, perfect for cooling down on hot days.


Ingredients

  • Fresh cherries: 2 cups, pitted and chopped
  • Cherry juice: 2 cups
  • Sugar: 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
  • Water: 1/2 cup (optional)
  • Popsicle molds: 6-8

Instructions

  1. Wash the cherries thoroughly and remove the pits.
  2. Chop the cherries into small pieces and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cherry juice, sugar, and lemon juice, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  4. If desired, add water to dilute the mixture.
  5. Fold the chopped cherries into the cherry juice mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving space at the top.
  7. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours until solid.
  8. To serve, run warm water over the molds to loosen the popsicles.
