- 1 bag frozen tater tots (32 oz)
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled sausage
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Spread tater tots evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle cooked sausage, onion, and half of the cheese over the tater tots.
- Pour the egg mixture over the tater tots and toppings.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the eggs are set and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
- You can substitute sausage with bacon or ham.
- This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
