A fun and festive bread shaped like a Christmas tree, filled with cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Stir in yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add melted butter and yeast mixture.
- Knead the dough until smooth, about 5-7 minutes. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the dough and cut it into triangles.
- Place cheese on the wide end of each triangle and roll them up.
- Arrange the rolls in the shape of a Christmas tree on a baking sheet.
- Brush with beaten egg and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
