A creamy and cheesy potato gratin dish.
Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom of the dish.
- Mix heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
- Feel free to add herbs for extra flavor.
