Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the cheddar cheese, parsley, thyme, and rosemary.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and eggs, whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown, and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.
