Description

Delicious campfire apple pie packets cooked over an open flame.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 pieces of aluminum foil
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your campfire.
  2. In a bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, and sugar.
  3. Lay out a piece of foil and place a crescent roll on it.
  4. Add the apple mixture on top of the roll.
  5. Dot with butter.
  6. Wrap the foil tightly to create a packet.
  7. Place packets near the fire for about 15-20 minutes.
  8. Carefully remove and unwrap to serve.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar based on apple sweetness.
  • Use non-stick foil for easier cleanup.
  • Add nuts for crunch if desired.
