A flavorful and aromatic rice dish cooked with garlic and butter.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups of rice
- 4 cups of water
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the rinsed rice and stir to coat.
- Pour in water and add salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 18 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in chopped parsley.
Notes
- Use long grain rice for best results.
- Adjust garlic according to your taste.
- Can add vegetables for extra nutrition.
