Description

A flavorful and aromatic rice dish cooked with garlic and butter.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water.
  2. In a pot, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the rinsed rice and stir to coat.
  5. Pour in water and add salt and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  7. Cover and simmer for 18 minutes or until rice is tender.
  8. Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  9. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in chopped parsley.

Notes

  • Use long grain rice for best results.
