A flavorful pasta dish featuring blackened shrimp and cavatappi pasta.
Ingredients

- 8 oz cavatappi pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp blackening seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook cavatappi pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with blackening seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook until blackened, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add cherry tomatoes and cook until softened.
- Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Cook until heated through.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet. Toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust blackening seasoning to your taste.
- Substitute shrimp with chicken if desired.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
