Ingredients

- 2 beef tenderloin steaks
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add butter and mushrooms; sauté until tender.
- Add beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook until thickened.
- Serve the sauce over the steaks and garnish with parsley.
