Description

Ingredients

  • Chicken: 2 cups of cooked, shredded chicken
  • BBQ Sauce: 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce
  • Slider Buns: 12 small slider buns
  • Cheese: 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Onions: 1/2 cup of finely chopped red onions
  • Pickles: Optional, sliced pickles
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • Seasonings: Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by shredding it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. If using store-bought BBQ sauce, skip to the next step; otherwise, make your own by combining BBQ sauce with apple cider vinegar and honey in a saucepan and heating it.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and slice the slider buns in half.
  4. Layer the shredded chicken on the bottom halves of the buns, drizzle with BBQ sauce, and top with cheese and onions.
  5. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and place them over the fillings.
