Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by combining balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Whisk until smooth.
- Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2-4 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and let the chicken sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
- Prepare a baking dish by lining it with aluminum foil or parchment paper, greasing lightly with olive oil.
- Place the marinated chicken into the baking dish, pouring remaining marinade over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
